Built more than a century ago as a private residence, 924 W. Franklin St. has also served as a doctor’s office and apartments and has been home to numerous Richmond Professional Institute and VCU students. Two parlors are still decorated in the original Victorian style. As the Richard T. Robertson Alumni House, it is fitting that today the building has been given new life as a reflection of VCU’s past and present. VCU Alumni Relations maintains offices in the building.
