About
The Graphic Design Center was established by the VCU School of the Arts’ departments of Fashion Design and Merchandising, Interior Design and Graphic Design. The facility is designed to engage the valuable skill-sets of these programs at VCU and to create unique opportunities in which students and faculty will be able to work on real-world, large-scale design projects and problems. The center promotes design as a problem–solving process — once trained, designers are equipped to solve a wide range of problems that result in products and systems that can benefit society.
