About
The College of Engineering West Hall opened its doors in fall 1998. A four-floor complex with 147,000 square feet, it houses classrooms, research labs, a 27,000-square-foot microelectronics center and administrative and faculty offices including the office of the dean of the College of Engineering. The Wright Virginia Microelectronics Center — an $11 million microelectronics clean room — is one of the only clean rooms in the commonwealth of Virginia.
